(For Homeschool Kids Write assignment #58.)
Beauty is all around.
Lilacs, Daisies, and Roses grow.
Out of ground, the stems proceed.
Out of stems, leaves come to give life to its flower.
Mind your step, lest you crush one by accident.
I do love spring, its fragrant smells.
Now my favorite season has come.
God, I thank Thee so much for the beautiful season of spring.
This is an Acrostic poem. Look at the beginning letter of each line in order to find a word.
Very pretty poem. You painted a lovely picture with your words. Keep up the great work.
I found something out when I was writing this. This kind of poem is easier to write than the others I’ve written (because I didn’t have to make it rhyme).
I loved your poem!
I found your blog using the Homeschooled kids blog carnival, and the homeschool kids write.
I really liked your poem! It sounds very happy and I also like flowers.
I like your Acrostic poem and hope you will write more of them. Love from both of us.
I like your poem a lot! I love flowers … we have some really pretty flower shots in our nature photo album on our blog. Come check them out … http://www.stabledays.typepad.com. If you have any nature photos you’d like to share with us, e-mail them to us at email@example.com and we’ll post them.
